Woodbridge Town Ladies Day 2026!

Woodbridge Town Football Club is delighted to announce the return of our Ladies day event, on Sunday 19th April 2026!

The event begins at 12:30, surrounding our SGWFL Premiership fixture against Kesgrave Kestrels. This event is to support and celebrate the Woodbridge Town Ladies team, and all the money fundraised from the event will go towards funding kit and equipment for the team.

Let's take a look at what there is to enjoy on the day:

Where and When?

The event is at Woodbridge Town Football Club, Fynn Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk, IP12 4LS and will run from 12:30pm to 4:30pm, with the match kicking off at 2pm.

Activities

We have a range of activities to help fundraise for the ladies team. The first of which is exclusive matchday programmes. They will feature detailed long-reads from different members of the team, light-hearted sections to enjoy on the day and a range of mini-games for fans of all ages to enjoy. In addition, our younger supporters can enjoy a FREE bouncy castle throughout the event!

There will also be a tombola and a raffle. The star prize for the raffle being 2x tickets to the 2026 Women's FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium! (We may also have another exciting announcement related to this in the coming days!)

Food and Refreshments

Our clubhouse will be open throughout the event, with the kitchen serving a range of delicious food at affordable prices, as well as hot drinks and light snacks. There will also be an ice cream van at the event ahead of kick off. Additionally, the clubhouse bar will be open for other refreshments, including soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits.

The Match

The matchup between Woodbridge Town and Kesgrave Kestrels is sure to be an exciting one in Woodbridge Town's pursuit of the SGWFL Premiership title! The match kicks off at 2pm, with players warming up from 1.15pm. There will also be club photographs at 1pm, with individual team photos for all Woodbridge Town girls teams.

The game will get underway at 2pm, with half-time expected around 2.45pm. After a 15 minute interval, the second half will begin, and the match should end around 3.45pm. The players will remain at the club until 4.30pm, to enjoy some food and drinks with supporters and hopefully it will be a celebratory mood!
