The First Team have 6 fixtures during the month of July to help with preparation for the new season.
The matches start with a short trip to our neighbours at Ipswich Wanderers for some 'Friday Night Football'. Wanderers will be aiming for promotion to Step 5 this season following the curtailment of the previous season. Tickets are already on sale for this game.
Our other away game is at Harleston Town, who have recently been promoted to The Thurlow Nunn North 1st Division, for our first of 2 Tuesday night games.
Norwich CBS are our first visitors on Saturday the 10th of July. We last played them in the 2017/18 Season where we won 4-2 at home and 2-1 away.
We were due to travel to Framlingham on the 17th of July but the fixture has been switched to a home match. This is a change to our previously advertised game. The local derby should attract a good crowd.
Little Oakley won't have fond memories of their last visit to Woodbridge after losing 4-1 in our double winning campaign. However pre-season is all about building fitness levels and preparation for the new season and we look forward to seeing them again.
Finally we welcome Halstead Town, a team that will be battling with Ipswich Wanderers for promotion. Manager Mark McLean brought The Humbugs to Woodbridge in 2017 and his 'Stevie G' like tactics forced a draw, one of only 2 at home for Woodbridge that season.
The fixtures will certainly whet the appetite in anticipation of the league and cup fixture release and the new season.
The entry fee for the 4 home games is £4 for adults and £2 for Seniors/Under 18's/Students.
