Management Changes

After 6 years as First Team Manager at Notcutts Park Jamie Scales steps up to the newly created position of Technical Director.

Jamie started with the club at the age of 7 and played for the senior team for 9 seasons where he made over 300 appearances. He took on the role of manager in 2014 and helped build the foundations which saw the club with their highest ever league position, finishing second in the Thurlow Nunn Premier League in the 2018-2019 season. This followed a League and Cup Double ending the season with victory at Portman Road with Suffolk Senior Cup success.

To acknowledge his achievements Jamie will become an Honorary Life Member of Woodbridge Town Football Club.

In Jamie’s new role he will be responsible for providing retrospective player analysis for Carlos Edwards, Glenn Snell and Dave Bowman, not only post-match, but also from previous encounters against opposition. This vital support will allow the coaching staff to make the relevant changes to starting line ups, formations, and tactics to enhance match preparations. He will be given the tools and technology for this new position which will become apparent over the coming weeks as we approach the new season.

Carlos Edwards will become sole First Team Manager after working with Jamie over recent seasons, a challenge which he relishes with the current backroom staff.
