First of all, Chris and I would like to wish everyone who is connected with the club a happy and healthy new year.
This season there have been positive signs within the group but we're also aware there is work to be done to get us where we need to be - being competitive at the top half of the table.
Both Chris and I are working hard to develop the squad and make it stronger. The players have shown real hunger and enthusiasm from the start of our time at Woodbridge Town and a commitment to our football philosophy, in a very short period of time. The team has shown resilience at times, especially coming through a difficult start to the season, given the transition. The work ethic and togetherness from the group, throughout the first half of the season, has been exemplary.
We’ve seen clear development in performances and to certain individuals so far. The togetherness within the group is building and the teamwork and work ethic is continuing to improve. The attitude and culture we want within the dressing room is improving every week, and the group has responded well to challenges that myself and Chris have set them as individuals but also as a team.
The progress made on and off the pitch gives us a strong foundation to build from moving forward. We both know there is massive potential within the group and I’m sure with time, with the hard work we will continue to put in and also with the continued support from everyone at the club, we're confident we will have a strong finish to the season.
We thank everyone for their continued support.
Up the Peckers,
Liam Bevis and Chris Rogers
