CLUB STATEMENT:

Today, with great sadness we join together with Liam, Jenna and all the family to announce the passing of their eldest son Kaylem Scopes.

Kaylem, age 16, had been battling Leukaemia for some time and was waiting the possibility of a bone-marrow transplant in the coming weeks. Sadly Saturday night, he lost his brave battle.

Kaylem was a talented footballer, playing with our youth teams, progressing onto the Ipswich Town Academy. Giving his family much to be proud of.

Our thoughts from all here at Woodbridge Town together with the footballing family further afield are with Liam, Jenna & all the family at this heartbreaking time.

Rest In Peace, Kaylem.
