Summer Of Music At Woodbridge Town

Updated: Mar 3, 2022

An exciting calendar of music events is planned for The Summer of 2022 at Woodbridge Town Football Club.

Rock Solid Alibi kick off the series on May the 28th. This local 4 piece covers band that feature classic and modern rock hits have been well received on the local music scene and recently entertained fans in Ipswich Town's fanzone.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee will be celebrated over the course of The Bank Holiday Weekend. The party starts on The Friday night with a Disco. A late license has been granted over the Jubilee Weekend meaning you can dance the night away until 1am- but make sure you're up in time for the BBQ the following day. The fun kicks off at 2pm on Saturday the 4th which will also feature outdoor music. We round off the weekend with the big lunch and Karaoke on Sunday the 5th of June. Join us on the picnic benches, or bring your own picnic blanket and deck chair along with some food as, like other lunches all over the UK, we'll be hosting a community lunch. Share food with each other and pop to the bar for some drinks to get you in the mood for afternoon Karaoke.

Andy Ottley will be 'taking care of business' on Saturday the 23rd of July as Elvis. We're pleased to welcome him back to the club for his take on The King Of Rock and Roll. Andy is renowned as one of the best Elvis tribute acts not only in East Anglia but also further afield and will be sure to pull in a big crowd.

The finale to our Summer of Music is Rude and Reckless playing Reggae, Ska, 2 Tone and Rocksteady. Louie 2 Tone returns to WTFC but this time he brings his band with him on the 20th of August. This is sure to be a sell out as Rude and Reckless have a great reputation as floor fillers across Ipswich and Suffolk.

We've managed to keep all of the music events to £5 a ticket whilst the BBQ and the big lunch will not be a ticketed event. There is even a ONE PASS TICKET which will save a fiver if coming to all events.

Tickets are ON SALE NOW available from behind the bar or also online. The online ticket link is here
