Maurice Scrivener

Everyone at Woodbridge Town Football Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Maurice Scrivener this week.

Maurice Scrivener was a great servant to local football in Suffolk as a footballer, match official and serving the Thurlow Nunn as an officer.

Many of us would have had the pleasure of being in his company many times within those capacities and he was known as one of the popular characters within the local football scene.

He was indeed and will always be someone fondly remembered and respected and everyone at the club would like to send their sincere condolences to Maurices family at this time.
