Our match against Whitton United on the 4th of November was the closest to Armistice Sunday and therefore the game in which we commemorated the signing of the armistice and to remember the lives of the servicemen and women that lost their lives in previous conflicts.

We were honoured to have The Woodbridge Branch, Royal British Legion Standard Bearer, Steve Lockwood, accompanied by Ex-Servicemen Don Baldock, Cliff Baldock and Shaun Fosker lead the teams onto the pitch. The Last Post and Reveille were played by Sean Marner from Martlesham Brass as the players and officials observed a minutes silence with the supporters. Don Baldock then presented the match ball to the referee before the group marched off the pitch.

It was a fitting tribute to those that made the ultimate sacrifice.
