The away side completed the double this season in the friday night derby. The Woodpeckers welcomed back striker Armani Schaar, signed on loan from Felixstowe, an evenly matched first half with the visitors the better side in the second half and deserved winners.
Man of the Match Paulo Coehlo's effort was parried by home keeper Alfie Stronge after 5 minutes and after 17 minutes Mason Sinclair's shot was well saved by away keeper Jack Spurling. The home side opened the scoring after 21 minutes when after Mallett's effort tested Spurling, from the rebound Mallett's shot made it 1-0. Coehlo's shot again tested Stronge after 31 minutes but after 36 minutes, Teon Leggett's shot beat Stronge to level the scoring at 1-1.
Danny Cunningham's powerful shot was tipped onto the post and out for a corner by Stronge after 50 minutes but 2 minutes later the visitors took the lead with Josh Folkes unstoppable shot from 25 yards. Leggett again hit the post after 62 minutes and from Substitute Jack Maher's accurate cross, Mallett's shot tested Spurling. Coehlo's pass was met by Joel Glover and Stronge again denied the visitors after 69 minutes. Coehlo scored a third for the visitors as the pounced on a rebound to make it 3-1 after 77 minutes and his free kick in the last minute went over the bar.
