Great Yarmouth 0-0 Woodbridge
Woodbridge won 3-1 on penalties

Woodbridge travelled to Yarmouth for the quarter final of the Suffolk Open Cup and ended Yarmouth's cup run again for the second year running at this stage. The opening half did see Woodbridge have the greater of chances at goal on strikes early in the match, Jamie Smith hit top corner of the post. Ben Hunter fired a late chance just over the bar late in the half.
Second half and Woodbridge got off to a slow start and let Yarmouth look dangerous at times, but after ten minutes Woodbridge got back on track and started playing well again. A busy half for both sides but Woodbridge's back four and keeper Stephen Seabrook worked well together when Yarmouth pushed forward. When Woodbridge broke forward Thomas Spurling and Issac Warren on the wing both caused problem for Yarmouth with their speed. Smith had a good effort saved a volley five minutes from time. With the game now in extra time Woodbridge really pushed to break the dead lock and attacked well in the first half of extra time and came close to scoring when a Lewis Cowie effort hit the cross bar. The last ten minutes and the match could still have gone either way but Woodbridge played out these last minutes well. Callum Scott and Tyler Howell both played well in midfield throughout the match with support from Liam Brunning. As did Teddy Cooper, George Exworth, Mason Ransome, Harrison Rodgers and Lewis Jimpson all playing in defence. In the end after penaltys the result was the right one with Woodbridge winning 3-1 on penalties. Woodbridge scorers were Lewis Cowie, Mason Ransome and Jamie Smith.

Woodbridge started off better in the second half putting more pressure on the C.F.C defence looking for another goal.
