Woodbridge started in confident fashion looking for a sixth straight victory and after 17 minutes took the lead when MAYHEW collected a through ball from Tatum to finish smartly in the corner.
The lead however was short lived as Stowmarket equalised two minutes later. A poor pass from Miller in the visitors defence allowed Sharp a clear passage to goal and he confidently rounded the Allison. Shortly after, the home side missed a chance to take the lead.
The visitors, whilst dominating possession for long periods found chances hard to come. In the 35 minute Woodbridge won a corner down the left which was only half cleared to the edge of the box where GARNHAM sent a sweetly struck left foot volley into the top corner of the net to put the visitors 2-1 up and that is how it stayed until half time.
A combination of injuries and illness forced Woodbridge to make all three substitutions at half time. There was little to speak of during the first 25 minutes of the second half with Stowmarkets Brown getting booked for a foul on Webster and Severy for the visitors being put through only to be ruled offside.
After 71 minutes Woodbridge went 3-1 up with the first real chance of the half. The Stowmarket 'keeper failed to deal with a back pass and his poor clearance fell to SEVERY who made no mistake from just inside the box.
Stowmarket then rallied and scored three goals in a nine minute spell. On 73 minutes the visitors failed to clear a corner which led to the home side making it 3-2 and on 77 minutes the scores were level. Woodbridge had the chance to regain the lead on 80 minutes when a cross from Mayhew found Webster free at the far post but the youngsters header cleared the bar.
Stowmarket then took the lead on 82 minutes to complete the comeback. Woodbridge had one final chance, a strong run by Garnham led to a freekick 25 yards out. Tatum took responsibility and his well placed shot was turned round the post by keeper Burch.
