3-0 win for league's biggest attendance of the season

Woodbridge Town 3 Kings Lynn Reserves 0
As Woodbridge Town held their annual ‘Youth Day’ the largest Ridgeons league crowd anywhere this season and the largest at Notcutt’s Park for a number of years gathered to watch the Woodpeckers cruise to a comfortable 3-0 win to move into 10th position in the table.
Woodbridge made one change to the line up that had exited the FA Cup to Wroxham a week earlier, with Ben Granham returning to the starting eleven in midfield, and Jon Bickers switching places from midfield to defence with Aaron Churchyard, whilst Jamie Scales joined Arran Sheppard and Lee O’Neill on the bench.
Kings Lynn started the livelier side going close after only two minutes through Martin Rudd and there was a worrying moment for the scores of young supporters soon after as Marcus Garnham was caught leaving his area only for the visitors to lack the manpower to capitalise.
Lynn then had the ball in the net but the assistant referees flag was correctly raised before Woodbridge began to play some fluent football for their supporters, resulting in the opening goal as Allicion Blake squared for Paul Berry to open his account for the season with a low left foot shot on 16 minutes.
Paul Hart, supplied the opportunity by Paul Berry, extended the Woodpeckers first half lead to 2-0 with another low drive and with Lynn failing to hit the target Woodbridge went into the interval worthy leaders.
Again Kings Lynn started brightly, denied by a double save by Garnham and Rudd was guilty of squandering another chance for the visitors putting his effort wide when clean through. Lee O’Neill once again impressed coming off the bench and was unlucky to see his shot rebound from the crossbar before Allicion Blake put the result beyond any doubt on 70 minutes to record Woodbridge’s second 3-0 home victory of the season.
Woodbridge Team: M. Garnham, Churchyard, Monaghan, B. Garnham, Roper, Miller, Bickers, Hart, Blake, Berry, Seaman. Subs: Scales, O’Neill and Sheppard.
